HOPEC Petroleum was established in the United Arab Emirates in 2015. We trade petroleum, energy and chemical commodities internationally, and we are wholly owned by UAE nationals.
Our background
From a UAE base
to international markets.
The company was founded in 2015 to trade the commodities that industry and infrastructure depend on.
What began as a UAE trading operation has grown into a business with counterparty relationships across South Asia, East and Southeast Asia, and Europe. The United Arab Emirates remains our home and the base from which every relationship is managed.
Our position suits the work. The UAE sits at the meeting point of the routes that connect producing regions to consuming markets, with the port, storage and financial infrastructure that international commodity trade requires.
We have grown deliberately. Each new market has followed from a relationship that proved itself, rather than from an attempt to be present everywhere at once.

HOPEC Petroleum is a 100% UAE-national-owned company, established and licensed in the United Arab Emirates.
Ownership matters commercially as well as legally. It means decisions are taken here, accountability sits here, and the relationships we build are held by the people who own the business rather than delegated away from them.
We trade as HOPEC Petroleum. The registered entity is HOPEC Petrochemicals Trading LLC, licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
